Workflow inventories are the foundation of AI operational control — leaders can't manage AI-first processes they haven't mapped. In this lesson, you'll learn how the three-level hierarchy (Business Process → Workflow → Building Block) organizes everything you build, then put it into practice. You'll register a real workflow in the AI Registry by mapping it to the correct hierarchy level and linking its artifacts (Process Guides, SOPs, Building Blocks). Then you'll register a building block by classifying its type and connecting it to its parent workflow — giving you hands-on experience with the system you'll continue building in the follow-on project.
